About Dr. Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen has been in the dental field for over 13 years.  She grew up in Austin and earned her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Texas.  She always had an interest in the health field and after college she took a year off and worked as an orthodontist's assistant near her hometown.  This experience piqued her interest and she decided that she wanted to continue her education and become a dentist.  Dr. Nguyen earned her dental degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she graduated cum laude with research honors in 2005.   After finishing dental school, Dr. Nguyen moved to California where she completed her general practice residency at the Palo Alto VA hospital working with disabled veterans.  She continued to work in private practice in California before moving to Florida in 2014 making the Sunshine state her home.

Dr. Nguyen is committed to continuing education and taking many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs of her patients and provide them with a skilled and comfortable dental experience.  She is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.  She regularly attends conferences and meetings to stay current on her education and dental regulations.

When Dr. Nguyen isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her kids and husband, Dean, whom she met while traveling in Rome during her time in dental school. They have two beautiful children, Kai and Alina, and enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, swimming, biking, and traveling to different places.  They enjoy life in Orlando because of its many lakes and family-friendly atmosphere.
